Softball Recap: Southeastern Takes a Loss

Southeastern scored first but ultimately less than Piketon in their game on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Redstreaks by a score of 5-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Redstreaks: they've now lost four in a row.

Southeastern saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ally Fisher, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Fisher has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Southeastern's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Piketon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southeastern is set to challenge their familiar foe Unioto at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Piketon will square off against rival Westfall at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
