Tolland dropped their record down to 14-5 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Southington Blue Knights by a score of 2-1. For Southington's part, Shelby Jordan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave Jordan a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
