It was a good run, but Morrow unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centennial Knights. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

Morrow was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-23.

Kamora Murray paced Morrow's offense, picking up four kills. Murray got some help from Jaiden Cox and her nine assists. Murray was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Morrow's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Centennial, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Morrow has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Mundy's Mill on the 19th. As for Centennial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Pebblebrook on the 16th.
