Soccer Recap: Sam Rayburn Comes Up Short

Sam Rayburn managed to keep up with Dobie until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Texans came up short against the Longhorns, falling 3-0. Considering the last time Sam Rayburn couldn't score was back in December of 2025, the team can't take the result too hard.

Sam Rayburn now has a losing record of 2-3-3. As for Dobie, their win bumped their record up to 7-0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Sam Rayburn will venture away from home to square off against Pasadena Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dobie, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dawson at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th.
