Baseball Recap: Peniel Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

Peniel Baptist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Crescent City Raiders, falling 11-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Peniel Baptist Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Lail, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Peniel Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Crescent City, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14.

Peniel Baptist Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-8 victory against Non Varsity Opponent on the 7th. As for Crescent City, they have also already played their next contest, a 21-0 win against Halifax Academy on the 7th.
