Kennedy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Costa Mesa Mustangs by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win back in September.

Kennedy was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 21-25, 25-21.

Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 16-9-1. As for Costa Mesa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-17.

Coming up, Kennedy will welcome Valencia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Costa Mesa, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Northwood on the 10th.
