Football Recap: Filer Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 61 points the game before, Filer was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell 26-13 to the American Falls Beavers. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Beavers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Despite the loss, Filer still got an impressive performance from Talyn Weaver, who picked up 105 receiving yards and one touchdown.

American Falls had a senior duo take command as Brian Lopez rushed for 120 yards and one score on only 13 carries and Zakary Grigg rushed for 75 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries.

Filer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for American Falls, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Filer will head out on the road to take on Parma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for American Falls, they will challenge Malad at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
