Softball Recap: Richmond Raiders vs. Southern Lee Cavaliers

Richmond barely beat Southern Lee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Richmond's pitcher stepped up to hand Southern Lee a 16-0 shutout on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Raiders needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Madee Pearson looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in earned runs (zero).
