New Palestine won the last time they faced Martinsville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Dragons walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Artesians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Chase Emberton paced New Palestine's offense, picking up ten kills. Emberton got some help from Kameron Engle and his 22 assists. Engle was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

New Palestine's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Martinsville, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

New Palestine has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Southport on the 19th. As for Martinsville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Beech Grove on the 21st.
