Baseball Game Preview: Aurora Christian Eagles vs. Timothy Christian Trojans

For the second straight game, Aurora Christian will face off against Timothy Christian. The Eagles will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Aurora Christian's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three matches, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Aurora Christian came up short against Timothy Christian and fell 4-1.

For Timothy Christian's part, Aurora Christian's batters probably weren't too happy with Gavin Bullard, who pitched a no hitter (he gave up two walks). Bullard also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Trojans are 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 8-11 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Timothy Christian's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brian Gannon, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Timothy Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Aurora Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.
