The Reedy Lions are taking a road trip to square off against the Highland Park Scots at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Reedy will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Wednesday. Reedy never let Turner get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. Considering Reedy has won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Malaina Boyst looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single walk, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in February.

On the hitting side, Katelyn Crosby was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Megan Lau was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3.

Reedy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .708. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Highland Park). They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Newman Smith on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Scots considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Reedy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Highland Park, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.
