Several Crimson Tide players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gregory Lomax, who scored 21 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lomax has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Phillip Crowell, who scored nine points along with two steals.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKinley Tech will square off against St. Anselm's Abbey at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Anselm's Abbey will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps District of Columbia Rankings (they are ranked 254th, while McKinley Tech is ranked 11th). As for Dunbar, they will head out on the road to square off against Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Roosevelt knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Dunbar likes a good challenge.
