Basketball Recap: Dike-New Hartford Comes Up Short

Dike-New Hartford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their loss to the Cadets from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Dike-New Hartford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dike-New Hartford won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Columbus at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, they and St. Edmond will face off at 7:45 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
