Baseball Game Preview: Chattanooga Christian Chargers vs. Chattanooga Central Pounders

The Chattanooga Christian Chargers will face off against the Chattanooga Central Pounders at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Chattanooga Christian will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run last Monday, then bounced right back against Chattanooga Central on Monday. Chattanooga Christian was the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over Chattanooga Central. Considering the Chargers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Owen Brown was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Blade Paty, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Chattanooga Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chattanooga Central only managed four hits.

Chattanooga Christian's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2. As for Chattanooga Central, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-1.
