Football Recap: Hansberry Piles Up the Points Against Christian Fenger Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hansberry). They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 36-0 victory over the Christian Fenger Academy Titans. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bengals had established a 28-point advantage.

Among those leading the charge was Tyreion Jeffery, who rushed for 50 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The win made it two in a row for Hansberry and bumps their season record up to 2-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for Christian Fenger Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, Hansberry will square off against Rowe-Clark at 9:30 a.m. on the 25th. Christian Fenger Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
