Baseball Recap: Briggs Bruins vs. Eastmoor Academy Warriors
After losing to Eastmoor Academy the last time they met, Briggs decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Briggs Bruins walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Eastmoor Academy Warriors on Wednesday.
Jaxon Mitskevich and Clay Russell did most of the damage at the plate: Mitskevich scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Russell scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Diego Savinon was another key contributor, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
