Soccer Game Preview: King/Drew vs. Locke

The King/Drew Golden Eagles will square off against the Locke Saints at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. King/Drew's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

King/Drew is headed into Wednesday's following a draw, the team's first since December 27. They and Port of Los Angeles finished up their game with a 2-2 draw on Friday.

Meanwhile, Locke kept a clean sheet against Harbor Teacher on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Monarchs. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Locke is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. With that draw, King/Drew's record moves to 9-7-3.
