Soccer Game Preview: St. Joseph vs. Trinity Christian

St. Joseph is 0-10 against Trinity Christian since September of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Spartans will venture away from home to square off against the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for St. Joseph's offense. They lost 5-0 to Riverview last Thursday.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Beaver County Christian on Friday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Trinity Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 334th, while Beaver County Christian are ranked 41st).

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for St. Joseph, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

St. Joseph might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Trinity Christian when the teams last played on September 9th. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
