Baseball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Harlan County Black Bears by a score of 5-3 on Friday. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Lee and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Harlan County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lee beat Harlan County by a score of 6-2 later that day.
