Basketball Recap: Bevier Takes a Loss

Bevier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 44-27 fall against the Brashear Tigers. The Wildcats lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 68-17 score last time.

Bevier's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Brashear, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

Bevier has already played their next matchup (against Bucklin-Macon County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brashear will challenge Green City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
