Baseball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern lost against St. Johns back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Quakers came up short against the Redwings, falling 9-2. The Quakers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for St. Johns, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern will welcome Everett at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Quakers are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for St. Johns, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Grand Ledge at 4:00 p.m.
