Basketball Game Preview: Tri County Northeast Wolfpack vs. Omaha Nation Chiefs

The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack will take on the Omaha Nation Chiefs at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tri County Northeast has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight defeats, while Omaha Nation will come in with seven straight victories.

Tri County Northeast came up short against Walthill on Thursday, falling 68-48.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Omaha Nation). They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 83-51 win over Walthill. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Omaha Nation's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points over those games. As for Tri County Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.
