Basketball Recap: Legacy Finds Playoff Glory Versus San Fernando

Legacy extended their postseason success on Tuesday against San Fernando. They came out on top against San Fernando by a score of 77-70. Winning may never get old, but Legacy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legacy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michael Martinez, who posted 23 points. The match was Martinez's third in a row with at least 18 points. Pompilio Lopez was another key player, putting up 16 points.

San Fernando's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Omar Chavez, who had 27 points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Cabrera, who earned 20 points.

Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 10-20. As for San Fernando, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

Legacy has already played their next game, an 85-70 loss against Sylmar on the 27th. San Fernando does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
