Somonauk entered their tilt with Illinois Math & Science Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Titans. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Somonauk never let Illinois Math & Science Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19.

Somonauk's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-16-1.
