Basketball Recap: Amber-Pocasset Skates Past Alex with Ease

Amber-Pocasset won the last time they faced Alex and things went their way on Monday too. The Amber-Pocasset Panthers blew past the Alex Longhorns 68-18. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 30 points or more this season.

Amber-Pocasset pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Alex, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Amber-Pocasset Panthers challenge the Verden Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for Alex, they will challenge Rush Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
