Baseball Recap: Four Straight Road Victories for North Reading

North Reading won the last time they faced Georgetown and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hornets had just enough and edged out the Royals 4-3.

North Reading pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Georgetown, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Coming up, North Reading will square off against Hamilton-Wenham Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Georgetown, they will challenge Newburyport at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Clippers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
