Soccer Game Preview: Doral Academy vs. St. Brendan

The Doral Academy Firebirds will take on the St. Brendan Sabres at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Doral Academy lost 5-1 to Lourdes Academy on Tuesday. The Firebirds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Aaliyah Perez, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, St. Brendan's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westminster Christian. The Sabres haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

St. Brendan now has a losing record at 5-6-1. As for Doral Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-2.
