Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kayla Royal and Shylah Taylor Lead Horn to Victory

Horn won the last time they faced Cedar Hill and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jaguars blew past the Longhorns 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

While Horn won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-10, 25-18.

Horn was led to victory by Shylah Taylor and Kayla Royal. Taylor had seven digs and two aces, while Royal had seven digs and six assists. What's more, Taylor posted four assists, the most she's had since back in August.

Horn's victory bumped their record up to 11-19. As for Cedar Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Horn will face off against rival Waxahachie at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cedar Hill is set to square off against their familiar foe Mesquite at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
