Baseball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Triangle Math & Science's offense. They came up short against the Chatham Charter Knights on Friday, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 last Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Triangle Math & Science and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Chatham Charter, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Triangle Math & Science will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clover Garden School at 4:00 p.m. on April 10. As for Chatham Charter, they will welcome East Wake Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Chatham Charter's pitchers better be ready for this one: East Wake Academy has averaged an impressive 12.6 runs per game this season.
