Basketball Game Preview: Union Academy Cardinals vs. Gray Stone Day Knights

The Union Academy Cardinals will face off against the Gray Stone Day Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Union Academy has 11 straight victories, Gray Stone Day has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Union Academy's usually-dominant defense will be looking to make up for Thursday's struggle, when Albemarle offense got past them. Union Academy secured a 65-59 W over Albemarle on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Gray Stone Day played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 42-22 to Mount Pleasant.

Union Academy pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43.8 points. As for Gray Stone Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
