Volleyball Recap: Brighton Takes a Loss

Brighton lost against Woods Cross back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bengals lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-9.

Woods Cross' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Hinton led the charge by getting nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs Hinton has posted since back in September.

Brighton now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Woods Cross, they pushed their record up to 23-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Brighton will challenge rival Skyline at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Woods Cross is set to face off against their familiar foe Alta at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
