Norton has gone a perfect 10-0 against Oakley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Norton took on Trego on Tuesday. The Bluejays came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Bluejays haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Norton was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14.

Norton found their leader in sophomore Halle Pfannenstiel, who had 14 digs.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday Oakley's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Ellis.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Oakley got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 18-25, 25-15.

Norton's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Oakley, their win bumped their record up to 20-0.

Norton beat Oakley 2-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bluejays since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
