Softball Recap: Brookings' Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Brookings suffered their biggest defeat since April 22nd on Friday. They lost 13-7 to the Lincoln Patriots. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Brookings' loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7. As for Lincoln, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

While Brookings had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
