Volleyball Recap: Springstead Starts Season with Win Against Central

Springstead gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on the Central Bears with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-19, 25-5.

Mackenna Chambers had an outrageously good game as she had 16 digs and one block. What's more, she racked up 18 assists, the most she's had since back in September of 2024.

Springstead was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central only served four aces.

Springstead didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Wiregrass Ranch on the 19th. As for Central, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Hernando on the 20th.
