O'Connor has gone a perfect 10-0 against Holmes recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will look to defend their home pitch against the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (O'Connor has three straight victories, Holmes has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

While O'Connor's win against Marshall wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers never let the Rams get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering O'Connor's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while Marshall are ranked 411th).

O'Connor's one-goal win came courtesy of Ayeli Martinez, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Holmes' offense. They lost 3-0 to Brennan on Tuesday.

Holmes' defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for O'Connor, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

O'Connor got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against Holmes by a conclusive 7-0 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
