Basketball Game Preview: Mandeville Skippers vs. St. Paul's Wolves

Mandeville is 2-8 against St. Paul since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Mandeville Skippers are taking a road trip to challenge the St. Paul's Wolves at 7:30 p.m. Mandeville will be strutting in after a victory while St. Paul's will be coming in after a defeat.

Mandeville played in conference for the first time on Friday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They walked away with a 60-51 win over Covington. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Skippers.

Meanwhile, St. Paul's came up short against Ponchatoula on Saturday and fell 72-65. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Green Wave recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Mandeville's victory bumped their record up to 17-14. As for St. Paul's, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Mandeville came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Paul's when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 45-43. Does Mandeville have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Paul's turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
