Basketball Game Preview: Monroe Redhawks vs. Parkwood Wolf Pack

Monroe is 8-2 against Parkwood since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Monroe Redhawks will host the Parkwood Wolf Pack at 7:30 p.m. Monroe knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Parkwood likes a good challenge.

If Monroe beats Parkwood with 57 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Monroe walked away with a 57-46 victory over Parkwood on Wednesday.

Monroe's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamari Clark, who posted 12 points in addition to six assists and five boards. The dominant performance gave Clark a new career-high in rebounds. Kaegan Chambers was another key player, going 5 of 9 en route to 14 points and six boards.

Parkwood's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Monroe, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
