Mullan gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Kootenai Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 win. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Mullan didn't let Kootenai take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 27-25, 25-22.

This is the second loss in a row for Kootenai and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mullan will host Lakeside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kootenai, they will square off against Wallace at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
