Soccer Recap: Immaculata-La Salle Falls Short of Coral Springs Charter in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Immaculata-La Salle couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 4-1 to the Coral Springs Charter Panthers on Tuesday. The Royal Lions were red-hot offensively headed into the contest (they scored no less than four goals in the three matchups prior) but the Panthers' defense proved too tough.

Immaculata-La Salle's goal came courtesy of Valentina Mangles, who's now up to 15 this season.

Immaculata-La Salle's loss dropped their record down to 14-6-1. As for Coral Springs Charter, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5-2.

Immaculata-La Salle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coral Springs Charter, they will take on Cardinal Gibbons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cardinal Gibbons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Coral Springs Charter surely won't give up without a fight.
