Basketball Recap: White River Valley Sets Scoring Season-High Against Woodstock

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask White River Valley). They claimed a resounding 69-18 victory over the Woodstock Wasps. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory (which was White River Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 10-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.3 points per game. As for Woodstock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White River Valley will host Proctor at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for Woodstock, they will be playing at home against Mt. St. Joseph Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
