Volleyball Recap: Warner Monarchs vs. Chester Flyers

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Warner can now relate to. They fell just short of the Chester Flyers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Monarchs' loss signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Even though they lost, Warner was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October.

Leading Chester to victory were Gracie J Huntimer and Lexi Bauman. J Huntimer had 21 digs, while Bauman had 15 digs. J Huntimer has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 28 times she's played.

Warner's defeat dropped their record down to 33-5. As for Chester, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 32-2.

As of now, neither Warner nor Chester have any future games scheduled.
