Softball Recap: Stevens Point Extends Winning Streak to Four

Stevens Point entered their tilt with Marshfield on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They didn't even let the Tigers on the board, marking their second-straight 13-0 shutout. Considering the Panthers have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Stevens Point's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Marshfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Stevens Point will welcome Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
