Basketball Game Preview: Stringtown Tigers vs. Tushka Tigers

Stringtown hasn't had much luck against Tushka recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Stringtown Tigers will be home for the holidays to greet the Tushka Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Stringtown comes in on five and Tushka on three.

If Stringtown beats Tushka with 46 points on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Stringtown came out on top in a nail-biter against Stonewall on Tuesday, sneaking past 46-44.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Tushka sidestepped Holdenville for a 44-41 victory.

Tushka has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Stringtown, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Things could have been worse for Stringtown, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 42-23 loss to Tushka in their previous meeting back in December of 2023.
