Softball Recap: Ste. Genevieve Comes Up Short

Ste. Genevieve couldn't beat West County on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Hunter Dragons fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 8-7. The Hunter Dragons have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Ste. Genevieve now has a losing record of 6-7. As for West County, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Coincidentally, Ste. Genevieve and West County will both be playing Scott City the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hunter Dragons will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on the 28th.
