Basketball Recap: Atlantic's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Atlantic was feeling good fresh off their 87-50 takedown of Gateway on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sharks came up short against the Tampa Catholic Crusaders on Tuesday, falling 104-83. The loss put an end to the Sharks' undefeated start to the season.

Neo Flores was a one-man wrecking crew For Tampa Catholic. as he went 13-for-17 on his way to 38 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian MItchell, who shot 71% from the field to rack up 15 points and five steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Atlantic fell to 2-1.

Atlantic will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on DME Academy Blue at 7:00 p.m. on December 9. As for Tampa Catholic, they will square off against Gillion Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
