Normal University lost to St. Joseph-Ogden back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Normal University Pioneers slipped by the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans 45-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pioneers.

Normal University has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Normal University won't have much time to rest: their next game is against MacArthur at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, they and Beecher will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
