Baseball Recap: Sacred Heart Picks Up 21st Straight Win on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sacred Heart). They put the hurt on the Bishop Reicher Catholic Cougars with a sharp 21-1 win on Friday. Considering the Indians have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Sacred Heart pushed their record up to 20-5 with the victory, which was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop Reicher Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
