Om Patel gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April on Monday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
