Baseball Recap: Bronson Takes a Loss

Bronson couldn't beat Concord on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Vikings fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 11-10. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 6-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Bronson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 1.67 runs. As for Concord, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bronson beat the Yellowjackets by a score of 7-0 on Friday.
