Volleyball Game Preview: Mesquite Wildcats vs. Eastmark Firebirds

The Mesquite Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Eastmark Firebirds at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Eastmark took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Mesquite, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Mesquite got the win against Marcos de Niza by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Mesquite was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Eastmark came up short against ALA - Gilbert North on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Firebirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-14, 25-9.

The win got Mesquite back to even at 8-8. As for Eastmark, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
